Without a shadow of doubt. We (but not all of us) that make up the ‘Great Unwashed’ are the problem. When you consider how many psychopaths, narcissists and tyrants that make up the controlling force that is in the process of taking over world control – to satisfy their perverted desires – they are, when compared to the billions they want to eradicate and control a tiny drop in the ocean of humanity, then it makes no sense that we acquiesce and timidly become the vehicle of their success by  willingly going along with their diktats,

Tyrants, due to their makeup, are surprisingly weak. Over the centuries the downfall of tyrants is always wrapped up in their inability to cope with ridicule, because at their core they are unable to deal with the realisation of how ridiculous they appear to those who have seen through their façade (a false appearance that makes someone or something seem more pleasant or better than they really are: He kept his hostility hidden behind a friendly façade ). Their actions are always for the benefit of the population – right? WRONG! As soon as enough of the population wake up to that fact, the sooner the madness is over.

Have You Considered How We’ve Been Lied To?

Can you imagine the police arriving on the scene of a mass murder and wondering how all the people died? Even seeing everyone shot to pieces, they still wonder? That is about the size of the situation with the vicious rollout of experimental mRNA vaccines. Forty years ago, I participated in a Gurdjieff Ouspensky group and was uncomfortable with their teaching that almost everyone was asleep. But now I wonder, with millions reported killed from the vaccines that are not vaccines, and no riots happening in front of the FDA, CDC, NIH, and the WHO offices, one has to wonder.

Dr. David Martin, one of the most intelligent people on the planet, calls for the annihilation of the WHO. Pure evil resides there. And they want to take over the world during the next pandemic. And there is a good chance your national politicians will not stop them.

The World Health Organization’s upcoming pandemic treaty and the International Health Regulation (IHR) amendments are part of a global “soft coup” to strip nations of their sovereignty and people of their bodily autonomy and freedom. The WHO wants to put into law that countries must censor their citizens so that only public health messages aligned with the WHO’s recommendations can be shared.

Every person involved in the rollout and administration of genetic vaccines is guilty of being an accessory to murder. They have destroyed modern civilization’s fabric by destroying all sense of justice. Criminal law and even modern psychology have been seriously compromised because the police and the justice system cannot identify the worst criminals out there, and psychology no longer has any idea about who the most insane people are.

Robert Kennedy Jr. Children’s Health Defense Organization reported:

A new study of 17 countries found a “definite causal link” between peaks in all-cause mortality and the rapid rollouts of the COVID-19 vaccines and boosters. Researchers with Canada-based Correlation Research in the Public Interest found more than half of the countries analysed had no detectable rise in all-cause mortality after the World Health Organization declared a global pandemic on March 11, 2020 — until after the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccines and boosters.

They also found that all 17 countries, which comprise 10.3% of the global population, had an unprecedented rise in all-cause mortality that corresponded directly to vaccine and booster rollouts. Through a statistical analysis of mortality data , it can be calculated that the fatal toxicity risk per injection increased significantly with age but averaged one death per 800 injections across all ages and countries.

By that calculation, with 13.5 billion injections given up to September 2, 2023, the researchers estimated 17 million COVID-19 vaccination deaths (± 500,000) globally following the vaccine rollout. “This would correspond to a mass iatrogenic event that killed 0.213 (± 0.006) % of the world population and did not measurably prevent any deaths,” the authors wrote. This number, they noted, is 1,000 times higher than previously reported in data from clinical trials, adverse event monitoring, and cause-of-death statistics gleaned from death certificates.

I wonder how long they will be able to hide this kind of information. Will it go on forever because every politician is a coward at heart? Or a paid-off political prostitute? Or because the young are protesting climate change and CO2 instead of pharmaceutical terrorism? Or because the public is so centred on their ‘smart’ mobile phones and belly buttons? However, it is mainly because people, doctors, and nurses are brainwashed by the mainstream narrative, as if alien beasts have taken over our minds, making us passive beyond all belief.

“Hundreds of thousands of people have died in this pandemic because of the bad information about vaccines and treatments,” said Dr. Ashish Jha, dean of the Brown School of Public Health and former White House Covid-19 response coordinator under the Biden administration. “I certainly am worried about what happens over the next three to five years.”

The whole point of this discussion is that the bad information came from health officials and medical organizations, and indeed, it came from the most untrustworthy company in the world, Pfizer, which the government has fined to the tune of many billions for all the nasty mistakes they have a habit of making. COVID-19 vaccines forced the entire medical system to divorce itself from reality.

To get your head around what has happened and continues to happen, just stop and consider what lies our governments have spread via the bought and paid for legacy (so-called mainstream) media.

In all honesty, do you still believe their propaganda after reading down the following list?

  1. They lied about the origins of Covid
  2. They lied about COVID-19 death statistics
  3. They lied that there was no treatment (go home, and if you turn blue then go to hospital)
  4. They lied about the ventilators & Remdesivir.
  5. They lied that the hospitals were overflowing (while they choreographed Tiktok dance routines)
  6. They lied about the masks
  7. They lied about the lockdowns
  8. They lied to prevent family from visiting dying relatives
  9. They lied about outdoor transmission
  10. They lied about Ivermectin, HCQ, Zinc & Vit D
  11. They lied about the efficacy of the vaccines
  12. They lied about the safety of the vaccines
  13. They lied to try and hide their data for 75 years
  14. They lied to conceal the extent of the vaccine injuries
  15. They lied by even calling the mRNA shots’ vaccines.’
  16. They lied about the need for “vaccine passports.”
  17. They lied to try and justify human rights and abusive vaccine mandates
  18. They lied about the rates of myocarditis
  19. They lied about the excess deaths

The truth is that the medical-industrial complex does more harm than good. Hundreds of thousands of people have died globally (were killed) by hospitals that were paid bonuses for every COVID-19 patient. The wrong treatments and the abolishment of right treatments killed hundreds of thousands. And the vaccines continue to mow down the public. The medical-pharmaceutical complex operates vast killing fields without anyone blinking an eye, without any politician raising a cry.

What Can You Do About It?

To start with, don’t sit on your hands and wait for others to sort it out.

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been treated to a couple of songs, produced by two extremely talented people who have managed to get their songs to go viral on social media. Both have exposed the realities and truths regarding what we are currently going through in this dystopian world that we now inhabit.

Secondly,  the song “Rich Men North of Richmond” — written and performed by an artist nearly no one had heard of just a few weeks ago — was perched at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. That was even before its creator, who goes by Oliver Anthony, was placed front and centre at Wednesday night’s GOP debate.

Oliver posted a video on Friday, two days after the debate, distancing himself from politicians and other figures trying to home in on to the success of “Rich Men North of Richmond,” saying it was:

. . . . funny” to see the candidates talk about his song on the debate stage.

Oliver Anthony’s viral country music hit “Rich Men North of Richmond” not only topped the charts seemingly overnight, but has become a gigantic success across social media with unprecedented ‘hits’ that has caused it to go ‘viral’. The heartening thing is that it reflects the huge awakening that is manifesting itself across the globe. We ARE the 99% who will defeat the evil and lies that have been poured on us, especially over the last three and a half years. We will survive by exposing the truth and waking up our brothers and sisters worldwide.

Oliver went on to say:

. . . . It’s aggravating seeing people on conservative news try to identify with me like I’m one of them,

“Rich Men North of Richmond” became a viral sensation earlier this month. By Aug. 19, Anthony’s song had hit No. 1 on Apple Music’s U.S. and global top 100 charts.

World Freedom Directory

From Janet Osseebaard’s video above, we know what is going on at the World Economic Forum (WEF). However it’s no use knowing what faces us, but we need a strategy to fight back against their machinations. We can sometimes get very disheartened, feel helpless and  very alone when it comes to doing anything about this state of affairs. In reality we are not alone.

Various organisations the world over are grouping in their desire to put things right, but many are unknown to us. When you consider that there is almost eight billion of us  (eight thousand million 8,000,000,000,000)  whilst those who want to harm us are a tiny minority of only a few hundred thousand 100.000) , it stands to reason that we have the power, but we need a co-operation of a wide network to achieve our goal.

David Sorenson’s work is remarkable. He has compiled a directory of all groups and individuals, the world over who are involved in what is commonly called the ‘Freedom Movement’. It is an amazing piece of work, and is now functional.

This directory currently has around  500 listings, but with many more not yet listed.  They have a common goal, to avert disaster and to regain our control over the WEF’s tarnished governments who dance to their tune. It morphed from the earlier organisation – The League of Nations – that was formed immediately after the First World War that ended just about twenty years before the outbreak of the Second World War. Treachery Of War Financiers

Up to our present time, the UN has again morphed – this time it is run from Davos under the banner of the WEF. The UN mission statement from 1945, that it was set-up to bring peace to the world is a heinous and outrageous lie. In the inverted world of the’ Globalists  ‘peace’ means ‘war’. The UN’s central mission has been the proliferation of war, and all the evils that follow after those wars. War is profitable peace is not.

In the same fashion as the Napoleonic wars were financed by the biggest banking family of that time period –  the Rothchilds.  So too wars have been fermented by the UN – as we see in the current  Ukraine (proxy) war driven by NATO and fuelled by the Davos clique through the banking system and their control of penetrated governments of the world – (Schwab’s words not mine). However, the hand played by the  the UN goes a lot further, as their agenda for mankind, working alongside one of their instrument of devastation – The World Health Organisation (WHO) the lock-step-agenda  is becoming clearer by the day as people are waking up to reality.

The Rothschild family have funded the losers and the winners of all wars since the Napoleonic Wars of 1803 to 1815. They fund both sides so that whichever side wins, they profit. In 1815, Napoleon Bonaparte is campaigning against Wellington. Jacob Rothschild, in Paris, funds Napoleon while Nathan Rothschild, in London, funds Wellington. Soon, the family decides that it is more profitable if Britain wins the war as the British royal family is indebted to the Rothschild family: thus, Jacob limits the funds to Napoleon’s army.

Knowing that Britain is winning the war, Nathan starts selling off his British bonds in lump sums. Other traders conclude that France must be winning and Britain losing. They also dump their British bonds in large sums. As a result, the price of the bond plummets and becomes very low. Once Nathan sees that the other traders have sold all their bonds, he begins buying them back at ridiculously low prices. When the news reaches the ordinary citizens that Britain has won the war, the value of the British bond rises so high that Nathan makes a huge profit. Ever since, the Rothschild family use their money and power to design the economies of other countries in the world. They also create economic crashes to make a profit out of them, just like they do in Britain in 1815.

You may not have heard of him previously, but he is a former, high ranking Romanian executive director at the UN (he was previously the EU representative president at the infamous ‘Club of Rome)’.

Joining The Dots Is Quite Easy – After It’s Been Explained To You

Coincidences Are Rare

As a drowning human reaches and grasps at anything that will stop them sinking,  So too,  when you point out to someone who is not in the ‘know’ , how events and connections are linked through evidence of collusion in order to to commit an illegal act, (called a ‘conspiracy ‘). The drowning man will tell you it’s  “just a coincidence” – to save his argument from sinking.

Here is the definition of ‘conspiracy’ from the Cambridge dictionary:

Conspiracy

the activity of secretly planning with other people to do something bad or illegal:
Examples
The three men are accused of conspiracy.

She has been charged with conspiracy to murder.
I think there was a conspiracy to keep me off the committee.

conspiracy of silence

a general agreement to keep silent about a subject for the purpose of keeping it secret:
The conspiracy of silence around these buried munitions endangered public health.

That should be straightforward. But,  if you view the actions of organisations  over a prolonged period – as individual occurrences  (such as the machinations of bodies like the World Health Organisations, World Economic Forum, United Nations, governments –  mostly those in the western hemisphere who have been infiltrated and especially the move over the last few years to herd us into a pandemic scam situation, and of course, the corrupt and controlled mass media outlets – such as the BBC ), most unaware people will explain it away as ‘coincidences‘. Better still, they label anyone, regardless of their professional status, as  ‘conspiracy theorists’ if they dare to go against the official narrative, or provide evidence of a conspiracy. The humorous thing is that as the so labelled ‘conspiracy theories become a reality as they emerge into the light of day, the ‘theorists’ are running out of theories!  As ever more people are waking up to the reality of what is happening., exactly as predicted.

The reality is that this conspiracy is so huge and spread out, that most people view it as something that cannot possibly be true, hence they response by saying “it’s just a coincidence”.  Coincidences are rare.

There’s the bird’s eye view that sees a wide angle aerial view of everything – which is the big picture based on meaningful research by serious researchers. Then you have the worm’s eye view, which only takes in the immediate area that the worm can see – it doesn’t mean they don’t want to see (those are the moles that live in darkness),  it’s just that their view is purposely  restricted by those who want to keep them away from the reality.  Many of the worms get a glimpse of individual occurrences, but cannot connect them up, as they cannot see them all as a larger canvass. Worms have this handicap because they only absorb small pieces of information or the snippets put out by the compromised and corrupt mass media that is owned and controlled by the globalist cabal.

Joining Pfizer in 1995, he was responsible for the growth and portfolio delivery of the Allergy & Respiratory pipeline within the company. He was responsible for target selection and the progress into humans of new molecules, leading teams of up to 200 staff across all disciplines and won an Achievement Award for productivity in 2008.

Under his leadership the research unit invented oral and inhaled NCEs which delivered multiple positive clinical proofs of concept in asthma, allergic rhinitis and COPD. He led productive collaborations such as with Rigel Pharmaceuticals (SYK inhibitors) and was involved in the licensing of Spiriva and acquisition of the Meridica (inhaler device) company.

Dr. Yeadon has published over 40 original research articles and now consults and partners with a number of biotechnology companies. Before working with Apellis, Dr. Yeadon was VP and Chief Scientific Officer (Allergy & Respiratory Research) with Pfizer.

This Mirrors What We Have Repeatedly Said

This Time – The Same Horse But A Different Jockey

Another highly qualified doctor tells his story of intimidation as he becomes a victim of the evil ones who are the actual  insane controlling us.

Cardiologist Dr Thomas Binder studied medicine at the University of Zürich. With a doctorate in immunology and virology, and specialisms in internal medicine, cardiology and respiratory infections gained at hospitals and intensive care units, he is very well qualified to give his expert opinion on the Covid–19 pandemic, or ‘scamdemic’, as he calls it.

It is the story of how one doctor who simply followed his moral compass, professional medical code and conscience was brutally arrested and persecuted for putting his patients and the general public’s safety first.

Soon after the declaration by the World Health Organisation of the Covid–19 pandemic, Dr Binder began to vocalise his concerns over the flawed PCR tests, mask mandates and lockdowns to politicians, colleagues and members of the media. Shocked that he never received a reply, he began to vocalise his concerns online.

With just enough time to type an emergency message online, he then surrendered himself to police who proceeded to detain him on suspicion of being armed, a danger to himself and a danger to the public.

Be Careful

If you are contemplating swearing your allegiance to the ‘king’ this weekend – do so from an informed position.

Many will be out waving their pathetic little flags, without an inkling of what this is all about. The same ignorant, uninformed, uneducated public that display their ignorance with this behaviour and will include the majority of the ones that wore masks, stood on little floor labels in shops and got themselves jabbed with a 20% lethal bioweapon in the guise of an injection, falsely labelled as a ‘vaccine’. They are highly recognisable ‘governmentalists’ or ‘statists’ who would throw their children into a boiling cauldron of water – if their ‘betters’ in government told them to do so (plenty of examples throughout history in the shape of wars and demonic worship to gods like Molech).

Of course there will also be many on the republican side, opposing the coronation, who have a slightly better grasp on things, but are still woefully ignorant of the core issues. A number of them will also have been willing participants in the madness on show over the last three years or so.

The Background

Before we get at the meat of this post, you may need to hear the background to this potentially explosive turn of events.

Rather than have me write it all out for you, please indulge BGB by listening carefully to this  broadcast by Richard Vobes, who himself has interviewed Andrew Bridgen MP.  In this short video clip he explains what has led up to this disgraceful attempt by MPs – across the parties in Westminster – to gag probably the most truthful and principled lone MP in that den of vipers.

Depopulation Tools Don’t Come More Potent Than An All Out Nuclear War

Apathy

I’m old enough to vividly remember the so-called Cuban missile crises. I won’t bore my readers with a description of what that was all about 63 years ago – you can easily find the information with a simple search on the Internet.

Suffice to say, we all knew what we would face if we had further nuclear use of weapons after the 1945 experience.  It was drilled into us what to do if such a thing did  happened again after Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

After an early warning we were told to hide in a cellar – if we had one – or under tables at home or under desks –  if it happened when were at school. Our adult population were advised to invest in nuclear blast proof shelters.

Twenty years on from 1963,  I, and many others of my colleagues across the UK –  in our Civil Service roles  as engineers within the GPO  were tasked with the periodic job of checking the early warning system in underground observation posts scattered in out of the way rural areas (usually in farmers’ fields).  Also , monitoring equipment was secretly installed within the houses or businesses of key citizens, they  were also checked to ensure the equipment worked properly  in those properties .  It was crude, but it highlighted how seriously they took  the possibility  of a nuclear attack in those days.

If these ‘key’ citizens got the signal, they immediately headed for their designated,  underground bunker,  which would be  kitted out with a periscope (amongst other things) to observe any enemy aircraft activity. I was fascinated by the observation books stored in those underground  bunkers on Russian aircraft – so that they could by recognised and the information relayed  back to London. Those bunkers were also kitted out with rations – including chocolate (I suppose it provided comfort as they looked out over a nuclear decimated countryside through their raised periscopes!).

One I remember was housed in a tiny Post Office in Magor, Gwent.  Evidently the postmaster had a dual role – if he was a ‘key’ person.  I can divulge that now as he was a few decades older than me at the time and guaranteed gone by now.  We had to make sure that the equipment was working around the clock. We were all signed up to the Official Secrets Act, and under threat of imprisonment for treason – should we divulge this information.  We were bound to that oath of secrecy for a number of years, if any of us  left the GPO,  or until the information we were party to was no longer sensitive or current. That was about fifty years ago – so I’m pretty confident I’m off the hook by now!

And explain what is going on, You must view the video below, reproduced by BGB from Dr. Vernon Coleman’s 325th broadcast,  which explains that  the madmen in control have already started WW lll in his opinion,  it’s only a matter of time before it escalates into a full blown nuclear conflict.

Real Fear

In 1963, we quaked in our beds at night, we were still mentally fresh from  what had happened a mere 13 years previously when Hiroshima and Nagasaki were incinerated by just two nuclear bombs. The two bombings killed between 129,000 and 226,000 people, most of whom were civilians, and it remains the only use of nuclear weapons in an armed conflict since then. The whole world went rigid after the Cuban missile crisis.

By now few people are old enough to remember those times. Time has erased the fear, and that’s the problem.  Far from wishing to conjure up fear amongst the population (goodness knows we’ve been subjected to enough fear porn from our governments over the last three years),  but there’s a big difference between unwarranted  fear stoked up by those in power. For me, this is one that we do need to take heed and be aware of. Amazingly the mass media  in the western hemisphere is totally silent on the subject.

Nuclear bombs basically come in two types. Those available now are horrifically more potent than what was available in 1945, their delivery methods today –  using hypersonic rockets for delivery are like comparing a high velocity rifle bullet to the horse and cart method of delivering death and destruction using Boeing B-29 bombers; the B-29 was capable of flight at altitudes up to 31,850 feet (9,710 m), [28] at speeds of up to 350 mph (560 km/h; 300 kn) ( true airspeed ).

Hypersonic rockets can fly above the atmosphere at speeds in excess of Mach 5.

What is hypersonic?

Since the video below was published, it is now known that Russia has successfully developed and tested the next generation of hypersonic Inter Continental Ballistic missile delivery systems.  They are now far advanced of any defence systems or retaliatory attack systems that could be mounted against them.  Before  the west could scramble, the fight is over.  From pressing a button in Russia it would take only around six minutes to obliterate any target on the globe. And those targets would be blissfully unaware of their fate. That’s REALLY frightening. Hiding under a table is no longer an option, like it was in 1963!

Personally, I’d rather leave this world by being incinerated within microseconds of the event, sleeping quietly in my bed, rather than suffer a slow death due to chronic heart failure, which seems to be my fate. That though, is an extremely selfish thought, we have to think of how this scenario will effect those left over, our children, grandchildren and all future generations.

 

Fact Sheet

Here is a fact-sheet on what is estimated that Russia has in it’s arsenal, taking into account the Inter Continental Ballistic Missile  (ICBM) method of delivery;  but it gets worse, Russia has now perfected a hypersonic ICBM which is a few generations in advance of what the west have. The west is still failing to design and build hypersonic ICBMs. On top of that China has a correspondingly powerful nuclear arsenal and the same delivery capability:

Russia possesses a total of 5,977 nuclear warheads as of 2022, the largest stockpile of nuclear warheads in the world; the second largest stockpile is the United States’ 5,428 warheads.

I remember reading somewhere in the mid seventies that the combined nuclear arsenals – back then – could blow the world up 36 times over (I wondered why they needed to blow it up another 35 times if they had already done it once?!!!).

Could they reach the UK?

ICBMs in Russia’s possession have the capability to reach and destroy major global cities such as London or Washington. Russia’s (hypersonic)  ICBMs can reach a top speed around 10 minutes after launch which could see one fired from Russia reach the UK  in no more than  just 20 minutes. A sobering thought.

What Is Going On Right Now

President Putin has given the warning that if depleted Uranium missile heads are delivered to the Ukraine, it will be viewed as a nuclear attack on Russia, in the form of ‘dirty’ nuclear bombs.  He said that they will respond in kind – that means the gloves will be off. A week or so ago the UK’s prime minister declared that he was about to deliver depleted Uranium missile heads to the Ukraine. A good plan for peace talks? Hardly.

Because all of this madness is more complex than what people are shown and led to believe by the mass (corrupt) media.  People everywhere seem to be in a trance – as they were during the scam pandemic.  It all emanates from the maniacal eugenicists’ that rule the world’s governments from the World Economic Forum headquarters in Davos, Switzerland. Everything we’ve witnessed in the last three years  is a part of the greater agenda, to establish a New World Government (now rebranded as the Fourth Industrial Revolution). To do that the world’s population has to be culled to around 500 million – i.e. half a billion from the current 8 billion.  A fantasy conspiracy theory?

Why Should a Nuclear  War Be imminent Now?

First we need to know what the real reasons for the NATO actions  for war in Ukraine really are. More importantly, why they are using this phoney ‘proxy’ war to antagonise and provoke Russia and China into elevating this manufactured war into an all out, worldwide, nuclear conflict.

As Dr. Vernon Coleman has announced WWlll may have already started. It’s zenith may quickly be observed, we may already be dust before we actually  hear of it. Those left over will possibly be 6% of the current world population. Now, start  following the research you can do to find out who also require a  94% cull of the population – look no further than the pronouncements of Klaus Schwab and his eugenics cronies at the WEF. A coincidence? Hardly.

This has been ramping up over many decades, then we had the scam Covid pandemic, where those who took the 20%  lethal batches of the bio-weaponised ‘shots’ and are now  falling like flies in it’s aftermath (checkout the latest post ‘vaccine’ death figures.

The  NWO  perpetrators have however been tripped up, due to the push-back by those who have woken up to this evil. So, it’s nearly time for the ‘ultimate solution’ (a phrase quoined by a  Fascist despot  of 80 years ago) – WAR the ultimate culling machine of the world’s population is to be wheeled out. Can we avert it? Yes most definitely,  when enough people wake up to what is going  on and protest in the billions. We are a gigantic force when we unite against a comparative tiny fistful of global elitists who are in control of the governments.

It’s time to evoke the fear of annihilation as demonstrated way back in 1963, during the Cuban missile crisis. It’s a matter of destroying the apathy, stop listening to western media propaganda and get busy to stop the inevitable.

So Who Is THEM?

There’s an increasing swathe of people getting the truth out there –  to those who have not yet understood what is going on across the globe. That’s the innocent, gullible and naïve who have difficulty joining the dots. Those involved in opening the  eyes and minds of the general public on the street, refer to those who are causing mayhem and destruction as “THEY” or “Them”.

The reality is that there are laws and rules (or no law) to protect THEM.. Whilst “WE” the People, are micro managed in our behaviour; – there are consequences for “US”,   severely executed by THEM – when WE are guilty of stepping out of line. When WE are perceived to have broken statutory law, and regulations put in place by THEM, without any consultation within their government or by consultation with WE the People and the rest of the public that THEY rule. Wasn’t it the PEOPLE who are supposed to rule THEM? Aren’t THEY supposed to be the public’s servants?

Political elites refer to the “Little People” (US) as those of little influence and mainly  the unaware. The term goyim (referred to as The Gentiles in Jewish communities, but not relevant in that context here) , cattle or “useless eaters” (as Henry Kissinger once said.) The term can have a misleading meaning since it suggests that it is the best who hold decision-making positions. In reality, political elites are often the product of social reproduction and only those who have already substantial economic, social and cultural means can access this status.

It is possible to suspect the political elite of sharing interests specific to the privileged categories from which it mainly comes. The fact remains that the increase in the technicality of public action is increasingly leading leaders to seek the opinion of personalities from civil society (association leaders, experts, scientists, etc. and of course the global business elites), which calls for qualifying the the thesis of the homogeneity of political elites.

The elitist and pluralist approaches oppose each other on the question of the homogeneity or heterogeneity of the ruling class.

In Elementi di Scienze politica (1896), Gaetano Mosca uses the term “ruling political class” to describe the minority that holds power in a society. According to him, “in all societies, from the least developed and civilized to the most advanced and powerful, there appear two classes of people – an ordinary class and a ruling class, who is beyond any watchers or guards. To keep that equilibrium , the the ordinary class have to be kept in the dark, be ignorant of their role and always to be subservient and totally controlled – usually by fear. The ruling class are always the least numerous, assumes all political functions, monopolizes power and enjoys the advantages it entails, while the second, the most numerous, is directed and controlled by the first, sometimes more or less legal, sometimes more or less arbitrary and violent”.

This minority, organized and conscious, forms a social class. It is therefore marked by a community of thought, of interests, of culture, of kinship, of economic power. It imposes its values ​​and its principle of legitimacy on the majority. However, this elite remains stratified: in the centre is a core leader (“the senior leaders”) more powerful than the others (“the secondary leaders”). It is this core that provides cohesion and strength as well as commanding the whole.

The sociology of the elites shows that the ruling categories come overwhelmingly from privileged social backgrounds, but that they cannot, in a democracy, govern alone.

From a more sociological point of view, studies show that the elites are very largely from privileged backgrounds. The manifest inequality of access to elective functions according to social background leads to the introduction of a gap between the representatives of the people and society.

Some people speak of a “state nobility” to designate the phenomenon of reproduction of the ruling elite through the increasingly pressing need to obtain a degree leading to positions of power.

The elites or the power elite?

Today, the elite ends up designating the occupation of an enviable position. “The elites” in the plural, is an expression constructed by contemporary sociology to explain the political transformations of societies developed from a non-Marxist perspective. The use of the syntagm “elites” “makes it possible to embrace, under a more abstract concept, the various types of leading or dominant groups which have succeeded one another and whose dated names have changed over the course of the regimes. [Above all, it recalls] the plural form of groups in struggle in the field of power and their constantly contested legitimacy

The Marxist thesis sheds some light on the analysis of power situations in society. It is a reading based on an economic analysis, which denies the specificity of politics. The fact of holding the levers of the economic machine gives the class that holds it access to political power (in the sense of control of the state apparatus). The state cannot be an arbiter, it is only a means of political domination in the hands of the holders of economic power. Economic power is concentrated in the hands of a small number of families who own the means of production, and inherit these means and political power. The power belongs only in appearance to the elected officials, in reality it is in the hands of the business circles. All the social, economic and political hierarchies merge into a single class which, thanks to the control of the state apparatus, exploits the rest of the nation and derives from this exploitation not only material benefit but also honours and privileges.

It is against this grid that the theme of the elites was constructed. In particular, the work of Vilfredo Pareto (Treaty of General Sociology, 1917) will refute this Marxist analysis. The two postulates of Marxist reasoning (the economy governs the relations of social classes, the ideology of a society is that of its dominant class) are disputed by Pareto. He affirms that the economy does not govern the relations of social classes; he himself came to sociology precisely because economics does not explain everything… economic facts themselves cannot be explained solely on the basis of economics.
