<\/h1>\n<\/h1>\nBe it blind adherence to a religion, a cult or a political dogma, the common tendency is for people to wrap themselves in a ‘belief system’. This is clearly seen in the ‘Woke’ community, where nothing must be tolerated that is not in harmony with that group’s ‘belief’ system. This is more closely related to a religious belief system than an opposing viewpoint to other groups with opposing views. It permeates down to blind beliefs in things like the climate change narrative, which does not take into account opposing scientific narrative and it totally expulses scientific facts and evidence from another sources on the subject – regardless of their qualifications, expertise and knowledge. Simply put – your argument is invalid because it goes against my ‘BELIEF’. Recently of course, the same attitude has been reflected by the public – regarding the fake Covid-19 pandemic. Why should so many people blindly accept what the governments and media have told them about the ‘pandemic’ and do so without question?<\/p>\n
It is because they are gripped in the religion-like fist of the state. They believe the state is the highest authority (just like God is to traditional religions). The state is sacrosanct<\/a><\/span><\/span>. The fact is that people can not be blamed for this through the ignorance of individuals, the brainwashing to accept the authority as sacrosanct is instilled into the population from birth.<\/p>\n They believe:<\/p>\n Do you recognise yourself as an adherent to the state religion and do you obey it in all things and worship it? Then you are a docile devotee to the most dangerous religion in the world. As are the majority of the sheeple amongst us.<\/p>\n Such executive power often neutralizes the remarkable institutional creations of the liberal era (“parliaments” or democratic “representative bodies”, civil liberties, independent courts and regional governing bodies within a federated hierarchy of institutions)<\/b>.<\/p>\n Even when it extols “rule of law”, statism means obedience to regulations handed down by the state [the nation-state]. However prescriptive and however exempt it is itself from legal restraint, statist power has an inclination to insist on its version of “rule of law”. The choice of “rule” rather than “governance” in this famous phrase is significant.<\/p>\n Statism reaches out with disciplined and centralized ruling institutions into areas of domestic social, economic and mental (“intellectual” and creative) life where states seldom ventured in earlier times, where historically only religiously sanctified institutions were allowed to intrude.<\/p>\n Statist authority is so strongly encouraged by such projection of power in the domestic realm that it is easily tempted to project its power beyond its borders into vulnerable surrounding territories.<\/p>\n Total statism can be described as a situation in which the power of government demands and enforces unrestrained SOVEREIGNTY both with respect to international relations — the relationship to the wider world — and with respect to domestic policy — its relationship to its own subjects. Statism acknowledges no enforceable external or internal restraint on its power. The total state thrives, or stagnates, or collapses, but all on its own terms. Yet total states have been challenged and overcome by domestic and\/or international force.<\/b><\/p>\n An image has been making the rounds on Facebook recently suggesting that statism is not much different from a religion.<\/p>\n Strangely enough, the governments of pretty much every country in this world,\u00a0 actually claim more power than God traditionally wielded within religion – especially in the western hemisphere. The state says it can birth you, clothe you, feed you, educate you, house you, comfort you in psychological stress, protect you, make you well when sick, provide you with a job, give you meaning beyond yourself, take care of you in old age, and even bury you. Hell –\u00a0 they sometimes even claim they want to control the weather!<\/p>\n Not a regular official narrative, like the \u201cCold War\u201d or the \u201cWar on Terror\u201d narratives. A totally delusional official narrative that has little or no connection to reality and that is contradicted by a preponderance of facts.<\/p>\n Nazism and Stalinism are the classic examples, but the phenomenon is better observed in cults and other sub-cultural societal groups. Numerous examples will spring to mind: the Manson family, Jim Jones\u2019 People\u2019s Temple, the Church of Scientology, Heavens Gate, etc., each with its own psychotic official narrative: Helter Skelter, Christian Communism, Xenu and the Galactic Confederacy, and so on.<\/p>\n Looking in from the dominant culture (or back through time in the case of the Nazis), the delusional nature of these official narratives is glaringly obvious to most rational people. What many people fail to understand is that to those who fall prey to them (whether individual cult members or entire totalitarian societies) such narratives do not register as psychotic.<\/p>\n On the contrary, they feel entirely normal. Everything in their social \u201creality\u201d reifies and reaffirms the narrative, and anything that challenges or contradicts it is perceived as an existential threat.<\/p>\n These narratives are invariably paranoid, portraying the cult as threatened or persecuted by an evil enemy or antagonistic force which only unquestioning conformity to the cult\u2019s ideology can save its members from. It makes little difference whether this antagonist is mainstream culture, body thetans, counter-revolutionaries, Jews, or a virus.<\/p>\n In addition to being paranoid, these narratives are often internally inconsistent, illogical, and . . . well, just completely ridiculous. This does not weaken them, as one might suspect. Actually, it increases their power, as it forces their adherents to attempt to reconcile their inconsistency and irrationality, and in many cases utter absurdity, in order to remain in good standing with the cult.<\/p>\n Such reconciliation is of course impossible, and causes the cult members\u2019 minds to short circuit and abandon any semblance of critical thinking, which is precisely what the cult leader wants.<\/p>\n Moreover, cult leaders will often radically change these narratives for no apparent reason, forcing their cult members to abruptly forswear (and often even denounce as \u201cheresy\u201d) the beliefs they had previously been forced to profess, and behave as if they had never believed them, which causes their minds to further short circuit, until they eventually give up even trying to think rationally, and just mindlessly parrot whatever nonsensical gibberish the cult leader fills their heads with.<\/p>\n Also, the cult leader\u2019s nonsensical gibberish is not as nonsensical as it may seem at first. Most of us, upon encountering such gibberish, assume that the cult leader is trying to communicate, and that something is very wrong with his brain. The cult leader isn\u2019t trying to communicate. He is trying to disorient and control the listener\u2019s mind.<\/p>\n Listen to\u00a0Charlie Manson \u201crapping.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0Not just to what he says, but\u00a0how he says it<\/em>. Note how he sprinkles bits of truth into his stream of free-associated nonsense, and his repetitive use of thought-terminating clich\u00e9s, described by Robert J. Lifton as follows:<\/p>\n The language of the totalist environment is characterized by the thought-terminating clich\u00e9. The most far-reaching and complex of human problems are compressed into brief, highly selective, definitive-sounding phrases, easily memorized and easily expressed. They become the start and finish of any ideological analysis.\u201d If all this sounds familiar, good. Because the same techniques that most cult leaders use to control the minds of the members of their cults are used by totalitarian systems to control the minds of entire societies: Milieu Control, Loaded Language, Sacred Science, Demand for Purity, and other standard mind-control techniques.<\/p>\n It can happen to pretty much any society, just as anyone can fall prey to a cult, given the right set of circumstances.<\/p>\n It is happening to most of our societies right now. An official narrative is being implemented. A totalitarian official narrative. A totally psychotic official narrative, no less delusional than that of the Nazis, or the Manson family, or any other cult.<\/p>\n Most people cannot see that it is happening, for the simple reason that it is happening to them. They are literally unable to recognize it. The human mind is extremely resilient and inventive when it is pushed past its limits. Ask anyone who has struggled with psychosis or has taken too much LSD. We do not recognize when we are going insane.<\/p>\n When reality falls apart completely, the mind will create a delusional narrative, which appears just as \u201creal\u201d as our normal reality, because even a delusion is better than the stark raving terror of utter chaos.<\/p>\n This is what totalitarians and cult leaders count on, and exploit to implant their narratives in our minds, and why actual initiation rituals (as opposed to purely symbolic rituals) begin by attacking the subject\u2019s mind with terror, pain, physical exhaustion, psychedelic drugs, or some other means of obliterating the subject\u2019s perception of reality.<\/p>\n Once that is achieved, and the subject\u2019s mind starts desperately trying to construct a new narrative to make sense out of the cognitive chaos and psychological trauma it is undergoing, it is relatively easy to \u201cguide\u201d that process and implant whatever narrative you want, assuming you have done your homework.<\/p>\n And this is why so many people \u2014 people who are able to easily recognize totalitarianism in cults and foreign countries \u2014 cannot perceive the totalitarianism that is taking shape now, right in front of their faces (or, rather, right inside their minds).<\/p>\n Nor can they perceive the delusional nature of the official \u201cCovid-19\u201d narrative, no more than those in Nazi Germany were able to perceive how completely delusional their official \u201cmaster race\u201d narrative was. Such people are neither ignorant nor stupid. They have been successfully initiated into a cult, which is essentially what totalitarianism is, albeit on a societal scale.<\/p>\n Their initiation into the Covidian Cult began in January, when the medical authorities and corporate media turned on The Fear with\u00a0projections of hundreds of millions of deaths<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0fake photos of people dropping dead in the streets<\/a><\/span><\/span>. The psychological conditioning has continued for months.<\/p>\n The global masses have been subjected to a constant stream of propaganda, manufactured hysteria, wild speculation, conflicting directives, exaggerations, lies, and tawdry theatrical effects. Lockdowns. Emergency field hospitals and morgues. The singing-dancing NHS staff. Death trucks. Overflowing ICUs. Dead Covid babies. Manipulated statistics. Goon squads. Masks. And all the rest of it.<\/p>\n Eight months later, here we are. The Head of the Health Emergencies Program at the WHO has basically confirmed\u00a0an IFR of 0.14%<\/a><\/span><\/span>, approximately the same as the seasonal flu. And here are\u00a0the latest survival rate estimates<\/a><\/span><\/span>\u00a0from the Center for Disease Control:<\/p>\n An increasing number of doctors and medical experts are breaking ranks and explaining how the current mass hysteria over \u201ccases\u201d (which now includes perfectly healthy people) is essentially meaningless propaganda, for example,\u00a0in this segment on ARD<\/a><\/span><\/span>, one of the big mainstream German TV channels.<\/p>\n And then there is the existence of Sweden, and other countries which are not playing ball with the official Covid-19 narrative, which makes a mockery of the ongoing hysteria.<\/p>\n\n

The word “statism” (and its adverbial form “statist”) is a bit of a neologism. Its meaning can be summarized in the following way. The word “state” refers to centralized executive authority (administration of laws, management of national budgets and maintenance of what is sometimes called “monopoly on violence” — police and military establishments). Thus the words “statism” and “statist” describe institutions and political practices in which executive authority gathers increasing levels and varieties of power into its hands.<\/p>\nStatist executive or managerial authority side-steps traditional “Western” notions of independent judicial authority.<\/h3>\n
